First Tee–Howard County is proud to announce the launch of its College Scholarship Program, designed to support participants as they pursue higher education. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to helping young people build strong character, develop life skills, and create pathways to future success—on and off the golf course.
Investing in Our Participants’ Futures
Through this scholarship program, First Tee–Howard County will provide financial assistance up to $2,500 each to four eligible participants annually who demonstrate academic effort, leadership, community involvement, and continued engagement with First Tee values.
Scholarships are intended to recognize the growth of our participants and to help ease the financial burden of college expenses. Beyond financial support, recipients join a network of First Tee alumni who are making a difference in colleges, careers, and communities across the country.
Who Should Apply
We encourage applications from First Tee–Howard County participants who are:
- High school seniors
- Actively involved in First Tee programming
- Consistently demonstrating strong character and leadership
- Committed to academic achievement and personal growth
Application Details
The application process is straightforward and designed to give each candidate the opportunity to share their story, achievements, and goals.
Applications open at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 8. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2026 and awardees will be announced by July 14, 2026.
