As a Turf Valley member since a young teenager, I invite you to join us at the 10th Annual Taste for The First Tee of Howard County on
Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm.
The Taste for the First Tee is a fun-filled evening that serves as a key fundraiser for our unique programs that use golf as a tool for providing youth ages 5 to 18 with life skills, core values and healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Last year,
We are proud to have:
• Enrolled 716 students in three sessions of instruction,
• Seven new volunteer coaches who dedicated their time to working with our students,
• Five students who were competitively selected to attend First Tee’s national educational and academy training,
• 34 Howard County public schools participated in the National School Program, giving us the opportunity to teach more than 19,000 elementary students in 34 schools the basics of golf,
• 11 after-school programs reached nearly 3,000 students.
The event features ‘tastes’ of delicious foods donated by some of Howard County’s best restaurants. Guests enjoy beer and wine, live and silent auctions, and a live jazz band. We expect to host 250-300 guests from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Turf Valley’s Grand Ballroom.

If you are not able to sponsor this year, please consider inviting your friends and reserving a table of 10 ($550).
